About

I am a Finnish-British multidisciplinary artist creating immersive, time-based installations exploring memory, domesticity, and the passing of time.

This year, I was awarded an a-n Artist Bursary and since returning to my practice after a decade-long hiatus to teach and care for my three young children—I have exhibited across the UK in Bath, Belfast, London, Oxford and Southampton.

The cycles of nature and the family home—both forever in flux—are central to my work. I record my children’s voices, document the endless rotation of dishes and laundry, create spreadsheets of domestic chores and film my sleeping dog. The rhythms of daily life become materials in my work, transforming the domestic into a site of reflection and ritual.

In the spirit of economy as well as personal storytelling my body is a constant presence—both behind and in front of the camera, easel, or microphone. I appear as a charcoal self-portrait, a voice listing daily tasks, a figure lying in tall grass.

Bridging the everyday and the elemental, I use intimate, ordinary details to explore broader themes of gender inequality, environmental anxiety, and the universal emotions of love and loss.
