Birch/ Koivu
Using photography, drawing and moving image Birch/Koivu explores Medley’s relationship to the Finnish landscape, native to her late mother. Initiated by feelings of loss and longing the series also interrogates her position between being a mother and a child, between Finland and the UK, between responsibilities and dreams.
